On August 31, Sichuan-to-East China Gas Project was put into operation. The project consists of Puguang gas field development, gas purification plant, gas transportation pipeline and etc. The total investment is RMB 62.676 billion. The construction began on Aug.31 2007 and completed on Mar.29 2010. Nearly 200 million people and thousands of enterprises are being benefited from this project. To the end of 2009, 62 records have been created in the construction of this project, out of which 5 world records, 13 domestic records and 3 records filling domestic vacancies.
